Hi Connecticut Foodshare Friends,
The Walk Against Hunger is Rain or Shine 🙂. So, come out Saturday and help us knock hunger out of Dunkin’ Park - home of the Hartford Yard Goats, with our emcees Renee DiNino and Scot Haney!
Today is the LAST DAY to register at www.ctfoodshare.org/walk until 8pm! OR register in-person at 8:00 AM on Saturday morning.
DAY OF DETAILS!
PARKING: FREE parking at the following locations on a first come, first served basis. Thank you to Hartford Parking Authority for providing free AND easy parking! Be sure to mention Walk Against Hunger upon arriving at the garages for the complimentary parking.

-San Juan Lot- 426 Ann Uccello Street
-Suite Parking- 479 Ann Uccello Street
- (2) HPA- 275 Windsor Street *handicap accessible​​
TABLING: For those of you that are tabling the Walk, please be sure to arrive between 7AM-7:30AM to have your table ready by 8AM. You can unload your materials at the Dunkin’ Park Main Gate at the intersection of Trumbull Street and Main Street. Once you are done unloading, you will have to move your car, or you will get a ticket or possibly towed. A table and 2 chairs will be provided. Each table will have a sign with your organization name on it. If you need assistance finding your table or need a tablecloth, please see a CTFS Staff member at the Welcome Table.
CHECK-IN: Starting at 8:00 AM - Enter through the Dunkin’ Park Main Gate at the intersection of Trumbull Street and Main Street. Roads are scheduled to close at 9AM, so I highly suggest you try to arrive a little before then to take advantage of the complimentary parking.
FUN & LEARNING: The Chase Family Kids Zone is open for face painting, balloon art, caricatures, and back by popular demand - baby goats! Visit our hunger-relief partners throughout the concourse and learn about their critical work in the community. Our event sponsors will be on-site as well, and some may have free snacks!
WALK- The Walk steps off at 10:00 AM from the Frontier Exit -Section 110, and there will be a limited number of Connecticut Foodshare signs so you can show your support as you walk! Attached is this year's Walk Route. For more info, please visit www.ctfoodshare.org/walk .
